This simple recipe was inspired by All-Dressed chips. I like the rounded blend of spices in that addictive snack. I followed the same idea in creating this recipe for Dressed Up Sour Cream, combining a few pantry items with the addition of fresh or dried herbs. I serve this delicious mixture with so many things: baked potatoes, potato chips, appetizers and snacks such as Game Day Savoury Potato Wedges and Parmesan Pita Crisps and Dry Roasted Crispy Chicken Wings with Honey Garlic Dip.

This looks like a lovely combination of herbs in a dip that’s sure to be s a favourite standby! I’m pinning this for future reference!
Thanks so much for pinning my recipe and for your comments, Cathy. I love that “The Dressed Up Sour Cream” is naturally gluten-free and could also be dairy free with the dairy free sour cream and yoghurt options (have you tried those?). Cheers and thanks so much!
Yum this sounds like a tasty and addictive dip! It sounds like it can go with so many things and I love recipes that are versatile like that!! 🙂
Thank you, Vanessa, for your comment. The Dressed Up Sour Cream is addictive, I must admit. Try it on baked potatoes – you will love it! We also love it on top of a bowl of chili (I was just admiring your “One Pot Chili Mac and Cheese”) – it would be perfect! Cheers and happy cooking 🙂
Such a yummy dip! I love that you lightened it up by using Greek yogurt. I’m definitely making this next time we have chips, or baked potatoes. Thanks for sharing, Denise!
Thank you so much, Colleen. As a matter of fact, I use Greek Yogurt rather than sour cream most of the time – I love the taste of it. The Dressed Up Sour Cream is really, really delicious on baked potatoes. 🙂
