What are you planning for Valentine’s Day? I just finished ordering Valrhona Chocolate, in bulk, from The Vanilla Food Company – a request from someone very special in my life and I am more than happy to oblige.
Did you know that there is more and more evidence that eating a 2 x 2 inch square of dark chocolate per day is very beneficial to your health? That’s our story – and we’re sticking to it!
Valentine’s ideas coming to inspire you in the next few days. Check out Vanilla Food Company for chocolate, vanilla and so much more! A pastry chef’s idea of a dream come true.
If you are unsure what to buy when you browse this site, do what I did: order the sample packs! So much fun to have a delightful selection of the most popular chocolates to enjoy. The first time I ordered these sample packs was specifically for a chocolate appreciation course and needless to say, that course was extremely popular.
In the meantime, if you are looking for a few Valentine’s Day ideas, here are a few for you to consider:
Dark Chocolate Truffles, always welcome and easier to make than you think!
I am quite proud of this recipe. It was created for a five-star hotel restaurant dessert menu, and ended up to be quite a popular treat. Even after Valentine’s Day had come and gone, the hotel featured it on their room service menu all year around.
Raspberry, Strawberry or Blackberry Curd:

Quadruple Chocolate Brownie – yes! Quadruple!
I hope that I have been able to inspire you to try a few ideas for Valentine’s Day.
There are many more ideas in the Cookbook series, “Chocolate Desserts Made Easy and Delicious”, now four volumes and rated 5-Star on Amazon.com
Have fun baking!
